Between the lines

This work examines communication, in particular the challenges that arise from failed communication. Through a careful selection of audio recordings, various scenarios are presented in which misunderstandings and misinterpretations lead to confusion.

Listeners are invited to immerse themselves in the different voices and emotions expressed in these messy interactions. The audio fragments show how often words alone are not enough to convey the intended message and how non-verbal signals or context can be crucial.

This exhibition aims not only to highlight the difficulties of communication, but also to raise awareness on the importance of empathy and active listening. The aim is to create a space in which visitors can reflect on their own experiences and appreciate the art of communication in all its facets.
