Christine Moldrickx gives an insight into her new book "A-C-F-G-H-I-J-M-R-S-T-U-V-W-Z", which was developed subsequent to her solo exhibition "Wie Columbo" at Skulpturenmuseum Glaskasten Marl in 2017. The book presents material from eighteen years of artistic practice and poses the question how it can be integrated into a structural order that “creates an overview while undermining it at the same time: it skips over, multiplies, leaves out... doesn't want to comply to any given form” CM. The result is not an ordinary publication, but rather an alphabetical system that brings order at one end and arbitrariness at the other. For the book launch, Sander Breure shows a film (comprised of allusions, snippets, fragments, music, and recorded bootleg material) that was produced in parallel to the book.

Christine Moldrickx (born 1984 in Münster) and Sander Breure (born 1985 in Leiderdorp, NL) are artists and live in Amsterdam.
