Look forward to inspiring conversations with Antonella Giurano, who was awarded the Cologne Miteinander Prize for Democracy and Diversity 2025 for her outstanding commitment to the integration of migrants. Antonella Giurano is co-founder of the association “Offene Welt e.V.– Mondo Aperto” and has been committed to intercultural projects and supporting women with a migration background for many years.
In conversation with Aurora Rodonò, Antonella Giurano talks about her cultural and political engagement and her own migration history from Sardinia to Cologne, accompanied by photos and objects.
Aurora Rodonò is curator for migration history at the Stadtmuseum Berlin and has previously worked at the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum, the University of Cologne, and DOMID. Aurora Rodonò is a migrant child and co-founder of the Makkaroni Akademie.
