from
12—7 p.m.

We invite you to a book presentation, reading and subsequent discussion with Julia Jost and Ralph Schuster to mark the publication of their first collaboration. In "PLANTS", published by grass publishers, the textual world of the author is combined with the visual world of the artist. Using different means, ideas such as identity and fiction or perception and desire are playfully interpreted and questioned in relation to their social meanings.

Julia Jost will read her prose text and afterwards there will be an opportunity to take a closer look at and discuss the book.

Julia Jost, born in Carinthia, Austria, studied philosophy, sculpture and theater directing. She lives in Vienna and Berlin. Her debut novel "Wo der spitzeste Zahn der Karawanken in den Himmel hinauf fletscht" will be published by Suhrkamp this February.

Ralph Schuster, born in Freiburg im Breisgau, studied fine art under Walter Dahn in Braunschweig and lives in Brussels and Cologne.
