Open Call for the participation in an artistic project in the community garden NeuLand
NeuLand is a community garden project that has existed for 10 years on a former brownfield site in Cologne's Südstadt district. At the end of the year, the garden will move to a new location nearby. Against the background of this transformation and reorganization, an artistic project is to be created that is dedicated to archiving and documenting the wild plants that have grown there. Apart from the cultivated beds, a variety of rare flora valuable to insects and birds has emerged without human intervention. Our work will include research on these wild plants, shared learning processes, and the development of collaborative or individual artistic approaches within the framework of permacultural principles. The focus will be on exploring what forms of documentation and archiving of the wild plants are possible and useful. The results will be summarized and presented in a collaboratively conceived and designed book.
If you want to participate, please write a mail to email@example.com
The project is organized by Temporary Gallery and Stefanie Pluta
